The Femmes ontariennes et droit de la famille (FODF) campaign, managed by Action ontarienne, presents information in plain language about family law in Ontario. The campaign’s website provides legal information on different topics related to family law, including divorce, separation, property division, alimony and child support, and child custody. Women experiencing violence can find legal information during their family law legal proceedings.

The website, managed by Action ontarienne and based on real-life situations and specific legal questions from our trusted intermediaries, offers legal information in plain language on various topics relating to family law in Ontario. It aims to provide answers and offer relevant information for counsellors and family court support workers to continue supporting women experiencing intimate partner violence. The website facilitates trusted intermediaries’ work and allows them to continuously develop their family law knowledge on other areas of law, including criminal law, landlord/tenant law, and immigration law.
